Happy Saint George’s Day!

Only if you’re very brave
Should you go near the gloomy cave
For inside lurks a creature grim
I know that you’ll be scared of him!

Scaly skin in crusty green
The longest tail you’ve ever seen
Gruesome claws that slice and cut
And blazing eyes that never shut.

Forked tongue flickers in and out
And teeth so sharp, I do not doubt
He’d eat you up in one quick bite
So forceful is his strength and might.

Don’t creep too close or you will hear
His dreadful roar like thunder near
Can’t you tell and don’t you know?
Where dragons dwell you should not go!
