17. Dreams(03/02/10)

Jess woke up with a start, heavily breathing. The scenes she had just witnessed flashed before her eyes, intense and vivid. She brought her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them.

“Bad dream?” Jess was startled out of her reminiscence by the other occupant of the room. She looked at him, currently sitting at the desk, his face illuminated by the glow of the laptop. A faint blush rose on her cheeks as she remembered the dream, and the man who had starred in it so prominently. Every touch, whisper, and feeling that had happened came back, etched in colour on her memory.

“No, it was a good dream.”

He gave her a weird look, “Funny reaction to have for a good dream.” With that he closed the laptop, and walked over to the bed, pulling off his clothes as he went, so that he was left only in his boxers. Lysan climbed into the opposite side of the bed to her, then pulled the women against his chest. “Go back to sleep, have some more good dreams.” He smiled down at her. She sighed and closed her eyes, ‘I’d like to have that one again.’
